I remember you talking about an increase in stomach bugs and the like a while back Robert.
Do you have any more info about this? We seem to be getting all sorts of illness up here that never used to be all that common. We also have a plaque of a certain type of fly that apparently started on dairy farms here. I am starting to think there may be a lot more nasty stuff going on than we realise.
There has been a lot of warnings coming in through the letters to the editor column from one particular retired microbiologist who goes on and on about the rising threat of bacteria associated with cows, threatening the population of Southland. I'll try to find it. Are the flies 'cluster flies'? Not in Riverton yet, but elsewhere in Southland.
