There is other Riverton footage ... it's spoofy and silly, but good fun and on the theme of apples and orchards.
If you've got an ear for a good pun, you'll find 'The Knights of the Silver Spade' quite a challenge to watch!

Methinks the Knights of the Silver Spade and their granny should now head over to Mataura ;-)
We'll see you there on Thursday. I'll be dressed as a knight - you?
(Granny will look a lot younger.)
Jeez..that Medlar was rotten to the core, but what a fantastic actor (seriously).
Yeah he was great Suz - he's a friend but/and lives in Hawaii-or-there-abouts-maybe-Canada.
My own acting was rather wooden/tinny due to my shyness and complicated by the helmet :-)
Bollocks! You were all great, and what a delightful archive for your clan/whanau to enjoy as the years roll by. I will make sure my son watches it, as he has recently joined a medieval group, although I fear he will lament the fact there wasn't more sword-fighting! :-)
As an aside, does the seed-shop have an on-line catalogue?
That's too kind Suz - the weird thing was, we had all of the props (helmets, shields etc.) on hand - didn't have to borrow anything at all.
The address for the shop is:
www.sces.org.nz
and there are all sorts of things on there that might interest you. Were there any seeds in particular you desired?
Terry (mill-maker) does a lot of work in Jacksonville aka Miramar re: Lord of the Rings sets...Y'all did them proud without their budget!!
He was very interested in the Te Radar segment, and will e-mail you with his wish-list, although would appreciate some advice, given we live on the top of a windy hill in Wgton, situated on clay, although he produces fantastic compost? Having trouble with lemon trees in particular?
Happy to give it Suz - email away!
"Prepare to crumble!" lol. Move over LOTR
Where was the Knight Mysterious on that day?
I don't recall...
Hmm neither
Questing perhaps?
