Nah. Close though (Thrash) but wrong family.

Thistle?

Hi Shunda!
Right family but a little vague.
Thrash's a clue.

Is it the seed of a Globe artichoke?

Variegated thistle aka milk thistle aka Silybum Marianum?

Except if Thrash is a clue then maybe it's a cardoon seed?

I thought it might have been a Scotch Thistle but apparently not.

Whew!
A flurry of near-misses and a bulls-eye!
Rochana's dart hit the wire surround and bounced into the 20 - too close, but wildcrafty, using the clue as a guide, pronged it with 'cardoon'.
Nice work all!
I'm provoked to go down to my insect garden and photograph the thistle that's growing there - it's none of those named and will amaze! It's well over my head now and spectacularly buttressed and tomented.
