Best parade ever!

Ya can't beat this!
Our parade was upside-down and inside out!
Due to the extra-relaxedness of the Open Day at Riverton and the 'she'll be sweet' attitude of the car, tractor and motorcycle riders, the parade started at both ends of the main street, simultaneously!
It couldn't have been better. We set sail from the north end, wondering where the tiny Mr Magoo cars and old-thumper motorcycles were (we had the antique fire engines and the big black bicycles so didn't care!) and the others cranked it up to the south. We pedalled and chugged our way down town, flanked by happy crowds of parade-lovers, to meet the others snuffling up from the other end of town! There was much hootin' and tootin'. The crowed cheered. We thanked our lucky stars and waved to all and sundry. When the north-bound traffic reached the far end, they turned, grindingly and smokily, to follow us.
What a day!
What a result!
Riverton rocks!
