Wonderfulwellington

Well, it is wonderful right now! There are people swimming in Oriental Bay, the streets are jam-packed with summery, happy folk and the buildings are providing welcome shade from the sun!
I'm loving it here as I walk about the city, looking out for the famous and the funky. There are both (is Trevor Mallard famous?) I had breakfast with Don Nicolson - Fed Farmers President and felt a little embarrassed when he said, "Ah yes, you've beaten me up a few times through the media" or words to that effect. He was a very interesting man to stalk with. Plus, he had porrige, like me!)
The RMA teeth-cutting workshop has been very interesting and the presenters are great. Who'd have thought?? The mock-hearing this afternoon was intense and revealing. I now know what not to do!
Tomorrow's workshop starts at 8:30 and I'm looking foward to the walk from the Ibis Hotel (2 star) to the Terrace, and a chance to mingle with the off-to-work Wellington crowd.
Oh, I wandered through the grounds of Parliament and detoured to the Backbencher for a beer.
All very lovely.
