Hi :) Just popped over from Marty Mars's blog (mars 2 earth) after reading your comment on there...it's the winter solstice here and I didn't see a thing apart from a skyful of heavy snow clouds! Lovely photo of the eclipsing moon tho...worth a trip over here to check it out! :)
Hey Zia - you'd have loved it. Our skies were clear and the eclipse conveniently timed (not to early = pale, not to late = too tired to get up to see it). Our photo was taken from the veranda, looking out over our garden and the estuary. The snows of Europe sound serious.

No, heavy rain and strong winds! (snapped our old Ake ake of at the base and it landed on my truck!)
