The mini-mattock is a Niwashi. It's a wee beauty and one of the three Niwashi tools I use: the Shark, for managing flax and toetoe, the hand-hoe that's the best thing ever for cultivating garden soils. they can be ordered on line but we sell them from our shop :-) I found the bigger mattock at a second hand shop and swept it up - it's a really well balanced tool and a pleasure to use. I've just come in from clearing around our West Plains orchard apple trees with it (got caught in the rain).
