Bovine TB

There are parallels between badgers and possums in this report "Spreading the white plague" from George Monbiot on the (mis) management of bovine TB in Britain.

"Tuberculosis in cattle is spreading rapidly: moving east and north from the south-west of England and south Wales. Isolated outbreaks are sparking up all over the country - in some cases hundreds of miles from the reservoirs of the disease. The white plague wrecks the lives of farmers."
