Endorphin River warning
Environment Southland has issued flood warnings for the Endorphin River at Riverton saying locals should keep an eye on the very high levels which were expected to have peaked at midnight but have continued to rise over night and into the early morning.

Hmmm, I found an Aparima river and a Pourakino river and a Opouriki stream, but no "endorphin river" near Riverton.
I can only conclude we are talking about a very excited Mr Guyton who is currently bouncing off the walls and driving his wife nuts!!

We've just come back from our 'umbrellas on the estuary' event - the winds were ferocious and we were lashed by rain. Umbrellas blew inside out and sturdy men struggled to retain their balance.It was a huge success! Lots of colour, movement and laughter. Photos to follow.
