Is that the native one? The bunnies love em (to death!)

That's an exotic Shunda and has bitter sap. Up close it looks like it's watching you with hundreds of eyes.
This one is growing in the arboretum we have our newest orchard planted in. It's full of wonderful trees and opportunities for the photographer.

We are still really keen to head down for a look Robert.
We are going to do a a few trial runs with our new tent first as we want to make sure we have got the camping thing sorted.
We have decided that the best thing for the kids is to get out and about and experience this beautiful country of ours (even if it means skipping a bit of school)

You must Shunda - if you've got your act together well enough to do Welly, Southland will be a breeze!
Re the kids, spot on, but will they still be able to do well against the national standards???
Crisis! Call Anne on the bat-phone!

We're not camping at the moment though Robert, renting a holiday home in Anakiwa with some other family, Welly will be a day trip on the ferry, and what a day it will be!! (when my 8 year old boy saw the size of the ferry he screamed with excitement!)
I am really looking forward to the Southland trip, looking for some inspiration to be a bit "greener" Perhaps we could trade a bit of labour for a guided tour by Mr Guyton himself?

Tour's free - I just hand each of you a machete and away you go!
