Ol' Sol stayed only half the day before his face became obscured by veils of cloud, but that was enough to do sunny things. The washing is dry, as are the tracks through the orchard. My European wwoofers dug a huge hole and erected Ogon in a paddock beside the main road and I dug 6 planting holes for the Catlins Collection apple trees at West Plains. It's been a fairly gloomy start to spring Shane! Did you biff snowballs?

Had a blast of warmth last 3 days, enough to push the courgettes & pumpkin seeds up! Lucky, any longer and fungus was set to strike!
Gardening is a dicey business (as is food preparation).
Gird your loins Nick, Spring is sprung!
