Water photography
This beautiful image is from the blog mars2earth and is one of a series taken of the surface of the water that wells up from Te Waikoropupu springs and is titled 'Taniwha scales'.

Wow, that is incredible - like ponamu, and a kaleidescope. Beautiful. How did you stumble upon this Rob!?
Marty's blog mars2earth is very interesting even without the photographs. he's of Ngai Tahu extraction and keeps a close eye on the political side of things that involve the iwi and has quite a bit to say about the Maori Party as well.
He seems to be fascinated by water and has a great camera, by the look of it!
