Saarbo says:
National’s main economic development initiative of oil exploration is turning into a real flop, with no oil found off East Cape, Raglan/Taranaki…now Anardarko are desperately seeking oil off Otago…in 45 days we will know whether this area is oil free as well.
Support for National is now down to 43%…I can see this reducing as more people realise that this Party has no idea…what a pack of flops.

The next thing I'm interested in is the date of the election. I'm certain that National won't be re-elected, so the question becomes "which date leaves them in the best position to form a decent opposition?"
Great to hear your view and I concur.
I'm hoping for five years of nasty public infighting amongst the various factions, followed by the success of the faction with a conscience.
Still can't see that AC.
The Greens are damaging themselves, Liarbour with Cunliffe are not offering a credible alternative. Winston First are not showing an ability to get over 5% - particularly with Craigs conservatives competing for Winston's voters.
It may come down to the voters of Epsom and Ohariu, but it seems the Nats are a shoe in.
