From the air

Wow, I actually remember when you took over a paddock of broom and gorse. An impressive 20 year effort!

The paddock of broom and gorse probably looked pretty good from the air too, bsprout :-)The wood pigeons were disappointed when the legumes disappeared as they had been using them as food for years, but they're happy once more, now that they have my plums to devastate. When I think about it, the broom and gorse must have added huge value in the form of nitrates and carbon to the soil and set the garden on the road to high fertility and kereru kak (pigeon poo) would have been part of the mix. When the edited footage of the fly-by is available, I'll post it. It's very cool but does reveal my thinning pate when I catch the drone as it comes in to land :-)

Best photo so far (can see everything in context now). Got a 'before' one?

Nope. Drones weren't commonplace 25 years ago :-)
