Bumble bee
The whole throat of the foxglove seems designed to attract and accommodate the bumble bees that inevitably visit in search of nectar. I wonder how it feels to crawl right inside of your serving dish? I suspect that those spots on the lower lip of the flower appear differently to the bee with its highly-tuned light sensitivity - they probably flow and pulsate, like landing-lights on a runway, only more dynamic still. Bumble bees work much longer hours than honey bees, labouring on into the late evening. With that great bulb of a body to lug around all day, you'd wonder how they do it.
