Ours just swarmed and filled the air-space above the road with their swirling mass. Where they are now, no one really knows... The thunder and lightening storms of 2 nights ago seem to have stunned the creatures who live in our garden. Today, a tui was busy being a blackbird, on the ground, a'peckin' about for worms.

I'm afraid of bee's.When i were young i had an allergic reaction to bee stings which caused swelling. My parents made far too much of a big deal of it,by panicking .I took on a phobia. And even though my allergy waned throughout the years. My phobia remains. And the bees are right on to it too. l.o.l
A brother of mine doesn't have this phobia. In fact he is otherwise inclined.Even so far as to getting himself into trouble at times.Being stung so bad that his skin bleeds.
One day we were out tending his bee's (i gladly helped ,but whenever the heat was on i always tended to shut myself away in a vehicle). It was blue sky day,a huge swarm of bee's suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Which i quickly pointed out to him. I ran for cover. While my brother picked up a stick and an old piece of corrugated iron. By banging hard and fast on the iron he made it sound like thunder. The swarm headed into a weak hive that had very few bee's within it. And proceeded to fight and take possession of the hive.
Ah, the Thunder Solution. I've heard of it before and your story interests me very much. Perhaps you are right to be wary of bees. Some people and bees do not mix. I'm not the kind of guy who would ever wear a bee-beard, but there are those who would. I like bees, but I'm cautious.
