Bouquets and briquettes

What's happening with the $25 000 000 briquette factory at Mataura?
Driving past, I see no signs of industry at all.
I have to give credit though, where it's due. The native tree roadside plantings Solid Energy did in order to screen the proposed open cast lignite mines from the travelling public, are doing really well and look great!

The sad reality is if Solid Energy used wood instead of lignite to make briquettes this facotry etc would be a winner.

Instead its now a memorial to a company that was allowed to become grossly irresonsible with pushing for non researched wish list projects by and out of controll managment whom were grossly over paied, ahh who are the owners of SE ..we are and who was elected to look after our assets hmmm

I am sure if they hadnt underpaid Don so much this place would have been belching smoke by now. We just need to understand that performance is commensurate with salary and once we get people onto multi million dollar salaries it will be the difference between companions going under quickly or companies going under slowly. He would have left his fingernails in his desk if his salary was higher.

Well said, Pauline. Fingers crossed still?

Elegantly put, Philip. Can we forward your views to Bill English, Don's brother in arms? I'm betting they'd get a good laugh from your reflections. I wonder, is Don still on the payroll? We know Bill is.

Bill who?

Bill the minister of finance, I presume. It's a very appropriate name.

"Bill the taxpayer" seems to be the Government's mantra.

Bills bills bills does it matter if they are English or Scottish bills. Just wish someone would pay the bloody things instead of sending them to me. I don't get a million dollar salary paid by Bill to pay my bills.

Briquetting Machine is a key to make biomass briquettes from green waste. Bill the minister of finance seems to be the Government's mantra.

Biomass Briquettes made in briquetting plant are very reliable energy conventional fuel which are pollution free.
