Plan B

JK understands Media Oxygen. Survival depends on it. He gets it by making noises. It does not really matter what the noise is. He could moo like a cow, it simply does not matter as long as he gets that Oxygen. It is his picture in the paper, him on the news , on the radio etc. Polls are a simple reflection of the amount of oxygen.
Poll ranking and coverage will inevitably go together. And it is coverage that drives the poll ranking. So JKs job is to always be in the media. He can make up whatever he likes it does not really matter as long as he is there.

Plan B understands the media. And oxygen.

I have been meaning to point this out for a while but this post was the trigger
John Key is the Prime Minister, he has never failed to ride high in public opinion, his party hold a majority far above the rest

Fair enough that you criticise him but you seem to have slipped into being obsessed by him
Read your multiple postings on him if you feel that is too harsh
Oh and I say this as a friend (as in cyber friend) rather than an enemy

Ray, RG is a little sensitive about his KDS (Key Derangement Syndrome). That his friends as well as his critics have spotted it should be cause for concern.

Ray and para - I appreciate your concern, but you have it wrong. I have no real interest in Key - he's not someone I could admire, nor develop an interest in. He represents for me, a kind of person and I don't admire that sort.
As to my commments about him, almost all of those refer to his lack of integrity and honesty, as I see it. His individual actions, I don't care about much, but the common thread of his duplicity catches my attantion. I feel he is very cleverly making chumps of the New Zealand public.
That's not something I support, hence my posts.
Key has ridden high in public opinion, however this latest poll that shows the majority of new Zealanders don't believe all of his claims, interests me greatly. How about you, Ray? Do you believe Key's ever word and if not, how do you reconcile your support for someone who isn't trustworthy - Trustworthy - reliably honest.

Robert I believe him as much as any other politician but I have a built in filter for this sort of thing I do know he doesn't need to rely on my support I have never voted for him

I could certainly ask you if you believe every word that Russell gives forth, i hope you also filter them because if you don't I am afraid you will have some hard times to come

Ray - I do 'filter' Russel's words but find nothing that gives me cause for concern. Consequently, I believe what he says and I trust him.
Key, not a chance. "It's been fun!"

Hmmm, that exchange between Dyson and Key on Tuesday, regarding earthquake-damaged houses in Christchurch was particularly callous. Did you see it? His words lacked substance and in any case they were overshadowed by non-verbal cues. He may as well have answered every question with a simple "I don't care", which would have been closer to the truth.
