Today I visited Earl Dale to see his peaceful-space herb-garden. Earl's in a rest home and not able to dig and delve but he's a mighty persuasive organizer. The garden he's 'constructed' is charming and I'm planning to write him up for the NZ Gardener. He even managed to arrange a fountain as a centre-piece for his retirement garden and I photographed that, along with other features, today.
