The year is drawing to a close and I've come over all retrospective. Flicking through my swollen albums of photographs from 2012, I found this shot taken in front of Boys' High, shortly after I'd swept through the school grounds aboard this "ordinary" cycle. It was a bright, sunny day, hence the squint and the air of relaxedness. A good day. I enjoyed it very much. The pose, btw, is the classic ordinary-cyclists stance, adopted whenever there is an audience or a camera, according to the Master Cyclist who loaned me his penny-farthing for the jaunt around the quadrangles.
