Here's what will happen

I look into the future and it is Green

Borrowing the crystal ball used by the Federated Farmers president and gazing into it's swirling depths, here's what I see...

Key's attempts to demean the Greens and frighten off their growing pool of voters will fail. Those attempts just won't fly. The Brethren tried it and, thanks Brethren, the Greens learned how to handle scare-mongering. "Prisoners given art lessons" or what ever terrified the Brethren at the time and provoked them to publish and dissemble their "Beware" flyers, won't wash with the electorate now. I don't think National realise that yet, but they will. When they do, they'll change tack. They'll throw something into the arena in time for the election, that they believe will distract the Green machine, soak up it's time and energy and pave the way for derision along the lines of 'your religion will cost New Zealand lives'.
This will come in the guise of genetically engineered foods or medicines. In the same way as the American public are now being asked to judge the suitability of a genetically engineered apple that doesn't go brown when cut  (Doesn't go brown when cut? We need this genetically engineered apple! It doesn't go brown when cut!!!).
My guess: the genetically engineered pasture grasses that will transform the dairy industry, will be 'floated' leading up to the election. We need these grasses! Our old grasses are under-performing, we can and must feed the world!! etc...
That's what I see ahead.

I think the Greens were lucky at the time that the Brethren attack ads were used by Liarbour to discredit Brational. As the Greens become more of a threat to Liabour votes your policies will be put under more public scrutiny.

Paranormal

Putting our policies under the microscope of public scrutiny, paranormal, is exactly what the Greens want. It's very difficult to get the media to cover the details of Green Party policy. If they do it willingly, I'll be delighted, as will the Green MPs. Brownlee et al will do all they can (they are already) to try to frighten the public, but I reckon they'll fail. Times have changed. You'd have to wonder anyway, why a Government that claims to be secure in its own philosophy and so far ahead in the polls (snort!) would need to attack any other party so vehemently. I sense deep insecurity on Planet National. That's the only reason they'd send out their predator drones.
