Stop thief!

Dunedin turned out for the anti-asset sales march. The sun shone on all of them.

I was going to say 'glad to know you were there', but following the link suggests that you have taken the link from the Standard. Never mind. David Parker, David Clark and your Metiria were all in fine fettle to fire us up. Only the Save Neurosurgery March was a larger march in recent history so maybe two thousand people came out to demonstrate. The government's argument that the election gave it a mandate is looking a bit shallow.

That's really great to hear, intheologus and I'm delighted to hear that you were there. One to two thousand people is a very good turn out. The save neurosurgery march was a very successful one in terms of presenting public opinion to those who would prefer there was none, and I'm expecting this one will be also.
I'm in Dunedin next week, so will think belated supportive thoughts as I wrestle with local government issues.
