On the beach - bluebottles!

These inflated guys were strewn up and down the beach at Tihaka. I wonder what gas is inside of the balloon? Their tendrils were largely shriveled and their colour beginning to fade, but they were beautiful.

Also on the beach, a seal and a sea-elephant!

(I know, Anonymous, they're not real sea mammals and technically I'm lying but if you pause and think for a moment, you might enjoy the gentle humour, what I call humour, in the post. Stay cool.)
