Malcolm MacKenzie and me at the farmers' market, turning apples into cider.
Or so it would seem...

I need plans for a press Robert, got any? I need to build one pronto!

The Grape harvest was miserable this year, too wet in Mot and the damned wasps got half of what did ripen.

But cider is now firmly on the radar......

I don't, Shunda, but could take a series of photos of this one and send them your way, if that would help. A friend has made one using a car-jack and it works well and we have an old, old one in the shop that's pretty prosaic but probably works well also. The one in pictured was very expensive and came from Texas, of all places. I'm sure you could devise one yourself. It's a pretty simple concept - squeeeeze!

I would really appreciate any photo's/info you could send.

Do they use cedar for the slats or something else?

Cathy Macfie - I'm sure we hired her daughter as a temp teacher at the highschool.
