Here's the follow-up to whispers that the Government is moving to sell Christchurch's assets. A report in today's Southland Times headed, "Airport, Orion likely to appeal" describes the way ahead for the hock'em off Government, represented by Big Gerry Brownlee.
The article begins, "International and local investors are expected to be potential buyers of Christchurch City Council's airport and electricity companies should it be forced to sell some assets to pay its earthquake bills..."
