It infuriates those who hold power or align with those who do, when ordinary people outside of the 'circle of power', break the rules. When extra-ordinary people like Lucy Lawless do it, the frustration and fulmination is all the greater. Lucy has clambered up into the structure of an oil exploration ship while it berthed at Taranaki making ready to steam to the Arctic where it was to drill for oil in the most inappropriate of environments imaginable. The Warrior Princess is, in my view, very courageous to do what she has done. She'll doubtless face sanctions and opprobrium, but has made her decision to stand up for what she believes to be important. I like that in her and in whoever does it, with the proviso that no one is harmed when actions like these are taken.
