Muddy cat's paw

There was a great sequence impressed into the mud on one of my paths that I tried to capture on film but it doesn't translate too well. Here it is any way.

I was making my way down to a plot where I've sown my albizia seeds. They require the heat of a forest fire to get them sprouting (I imagine) so I laid a fire over top of them and lit it. Now there's just ash. I'll leave everything in place, won't poke and fiddle, and just see how it goes. I expect them to fire-up pretty quickly and shoot up like phoenix, but we'll see!
