She is Fred. We've promised her a position on our PR team post-election, when we become government. Not sure she really fully understands the term 'white-anting' though.
Not bees then Fred! White-ants (the human kind) infiltrate, rather than undermine,or at least they make them selves welcome, essential even, before they start chewing. It's an ancient and difficult art.
Thanks Rg. I think I'll stick to my gardening. Granny Smith bit the dust courtesy of the trusty Shindaiwa. Sad to see it go, had reached its end, but will provide firewood for a bit.
Rg, I try to anticipate the demise of a tree - especially when it is by my own hand - and plant in advance of the 'chop'. In this case I have already replanted.
S b, what took you so long to come to that amazingly telling, and accurate, prediction. But it does provide a little light relief to watch, and a change from "Coro Street"!
Shunda - what makes you say 'you can't criticise them', when clearly you can (and have) and do you think National takes criticism any better? Just wondering...
Drat you Rg, you have tumbled me. I was talked into a tree with a split personality - i.e. a double graft - by the owner of a large garden place in the city. And I have no idea what I bought....well I cant remember what he told me I was so disgusted with myself. Anyway they have a super barista who makes the most stunning and consistently good coffees!

Hey, Rg, how much are the Greens paying Clare Curran? Gee she's doing a great job for you people.

I enjoy your sense of humour, Rg.

Poor granny! Will you plant a replacement?
Merton Russet's a cracker -= flavoursome and crunchy!
Wow, what a pack of #$%@#S the Labour party are.
You can't criticise them, you see, because they (and they alone) are "born to lead".
National are going to run this place for a very long time at this rate.
