Key's a bloke - so's Goff.

Our Prime Mincer
A bee of a certain age discusses the cringe-worthy behaviour of John Key (bloke-ing it up with Tony 'kick-em-while-they're-down' Veitch and that dreadful catwalk!) and me-too Phil Goff on her blog, A Bee of a Certain Age.
The comments from readers are worth reading too.

The Veitch thing was certainly a bit yuck, no doubt about it, but the cat walk thing was just funny, what's the problem with Key having a laugh?
Can you imagine Don Brash doing that?

Oh good heavens, the pm is being silly!!

I didn't take you for a wowser Robert!! :)

Geoffrey Palmer for PM and QUICK!!!

He's apoligised and said it was 'a bit stupid'.
He's right.
I personally don't care how stupidly he acts, it is good for others to see him as I do :-)
Why do you think he apologised Shunda?
"Overstepped" the mark, much?
Try finding a still-shot of Key on the catwalk and ask youself why it's so hard to do.
I wish they would play the 'Key-mince' over and over as the election approaches, they way they did the Greens 'morris dancing' clip. But they won't, will they. Why ever not? I hear you wonder.

Trevor Mallard must read your blog, Robert.

The "Prime Mincer" surfaced in Parliament yesterday, and here at Red Alert, courtesy of Trevor.

Pity he hasn't given you credit for the term.

Brownlee has been sneaking to Greymouth unannounced, and now Key will be here tomorrow but no one knows exactly what for, but the media are banned.
We do know that Key will be visiting the Stockton open cast mine first, then having a meeting with an undisclosed person (even the mayor has no idea who).
Wonder what they are up to?

Thanks for that link Toad.
I didn't see or hear Trevor's delivery in the House but it must have been done well - the reaction from the bluerinsedbrain bloggers is foamy :-)
I hope there are strategists loading that YouTube clip, ready for projection as we get closer to the election.

Onto it. Danyl at the Dim Post has suggested it should be set to the music of Ini Kamoze's Hot Steppa.

Thinking about inserting a still shot of Don Brash walking the plank at the end.
