None Tree Hill

Auckland's a strange place.
One tree hill lost it's tree and no one dares plant a new one for fear that it'll be up-rooted, cut down or otherwise attacked.
The council has however, been making preparations for the day when all parties concerned give the go-ahead to replant the hill. They have found, they claim, seedlings of pohutukawa, growing on the fallen trunk of the pine that was unceremoniously felled by a protester, and have grown those seedlings on, ready for the day when the plant-out gets the green light.
