The primary school student asking the question might have been puzzled by that response, but if he'd thought for a moment about where the question was being asked, in Mataura, a town that's most notable for it's meatworks, he might have understood that he was being used as a platform for more Key myth-making. Poor sap.
Another child asked Key why he was selling New Zealand, to which the PM replied (I use the word purposefully), that is was 'for schools'.

ReplyDeleteIf he makes it to the next election as PM, the day after the election he will be a backbench MP. That will last a few months before he accepts a role with some organisation like the World Bank or IMF, or one of the various bunches of thieves, sorry, I mean merchant banks, on the other side of the world.
