Fathers' day is almost over; my sons and daughter have visited and we walked all around the garden, looking at spring springing. In the evening, I lit a fire to burn up the prunings from the apple trees. It's blazing encouragingly, as you can see, while the sliver-moon lights the sky delicately. I'll be sitting out beside it, once we've had our dinner, and thanking my lucky stars for my good family fortunes.
